StudifyAI ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your data. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it

a. Stored Locally on Your Device

Channels you create (up to 50 total).
Chat messages per channel (up to 30 retained).
Your selected language and app settings.

All of this data is stored only on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app or clear storage manually.

b. Stored on the Cloud

Feedback Reports: If you submit feedback via the app, it is securely stored in our Cloud system for the sole purpose of improving the app. These reports do not contain any personally identifiable information.

c. Camera Access

StudifyAI allows users to take or upload photos of educational materials (such as textbook pages or handwritten notes) to ask study-related questions.

When you use this feature, the image is securely uploaded to StudifyAI's servers for processing by our AI system.
The uploaded image is used only for generating an educational response and is not shared with any third party.
Images are not stored permanently; they are deleted automatically after processing is completed.
We do not use uploaded photos to train AI models or for any purpose unrelated to providing the answer you requested.
Camera access is optional and only used when you actively choose to scan or upload a photo.

2. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process feedback data based on your explicit consent. Submitting feedback through the app constitutes your agreement to our processing and storage of that data for improvement purposes.

3. How We Use the Information

Locally stored data allows the app to function offline and preserve your study content.
Feedback reports help us improve app performance and user experience.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or rent any user data to third parties. We do not collect any personally identifiable information.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Local data (channels, messages, preferences) is deleted upon app uninstall or when you clear the app storage manually.
Feedback reports are retained in our system unless you request their deletion.

6. Your Data Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the feedback data you've submitted.
Request deletion of feedback reports.
Object or restrict the processing of your feedback.
File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children’s privacy

StudifyAI is designed for educational use. If you are under 12 years of age, please use the app with parental supervision.

We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will remove the data immediately.

8. International Users

By using the app from outside Vietnam, you consent to the processing of your feedback information in accordance with this policy, including storage on secure cloud servers that may be located in the United States or other countries.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards to protect the small amount of data stored (i.e., feedback reports). No sensitive data is collected or transmitted.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this policy occasionally. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do.
